What if something happens and I can’t drive?

We get it – life happens and things come up! Simply fill out the form below to let us know what’s going on.

How do I change my profile photo or my profile info?

To make changes to your driver profile please resubmit your profile HERE

I uploaded my photo, but I don’t see it.

Please go in and out of your profile page and wait ten seconds. If that doesn’t work, try turning your tablet on/off by holding the power button on the top.

How do you know how many rides I do per month?

We know how far our tablets travel so can approximate the number of rides you’re giving. If our estimate is wrong, you’re welcome to send us other proof.

I’m not driving right now; can I return my tablet?

You can return the tablet and accessories anytime with no cancellation fee. If you’re not happy then we’re not happy. Fill out the form below so we can schedule a time for you to come return the tablet.

Tablet and Mount

What happens if my tablet is damaged/stolen?

If your tablet is damaged during a ride, file a claim ASAP with the rideshare company for which you drive. Tablet theft is extremely rare. In the event a tablet is stolen, please provide us with the related police report and we will waive the tablet loss fee. After you file a report or claim, contact us using the form below and we will get you set up with a replacement.

My tablet is not working.

Try turning your tablet on/off by holding the power button on the top. If that doesn’t work, please fill in the form below and we’ll help you troubleshoot.

My battery keeps dying.

Your tablet should charge UP while you drive. If it’s dying while you drive, please fill out the form below. It’s normal for your battery to die if you leave your tablet idle for 12 or more hours.

Does the tablet record my passengers?

No, your tablet does not record any images or audio of your passengers.

How do I setup the tablet mount?

How do I earn points?

You earn Octopus points by simply driving with the tablet and asking passengers to play the games. For every ride you give (we estimate this with GPS), you get 1 point. For every game played, you get a ½ point. Plus, we have frequent bonus point opportunities.

How much are points worth?

You earn $25 for every 250 points. We make payouts on the 1st and 16th of each month, and deposits arrive 3-5 business days later.

How much is a referral worth?

We pay you $25 for each referral that joins Octopus. We occasionally offer extra incentives for this too!

When will I get paid for my referral or bonus prize?

We process payments on the 1st and 16th of each month. Your referral must be an active driver before you will get paid. Thank you for your patience.

How can I change my payment/bank account information?

How can I refer a fellow driver?

Please share your unique referral code or link with other drivers. You may access that HERE. They should use that on their application form.

How do I get more referral cards?

If you’re near our Bethesda or Philadelphia offices, feel free to stop by Monday-Friday, 9AM-6PM, to pick up more referral cards. If not, just fill out the form below and we’ll ship them directly to your house.

What are your business hours?

Our Bethesda and Philadelphia offices are open Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm. If you need to get in touch with us outside of office hours please fill out the driver support form below and we will get back to you ASAP.

Is there a cancellation fee?

There is no cancellation fee as long as all equipment is returned.

How do the games work? What are the rules?

Players get one point for each correct answer, and one point subtracted for everyone incorrect guess. Our daily high score winner will earn $25!
