Play Octopus is a premier rideshare entertainment and video advertising platform. We place innovative tablets in the backseats of rideshare vehicles to improve the driver and passenger experience. We’re searching for an inside sales executive to join our mission of revolutionizing the rideshare and out-of-home (OOH) advertising industries.

Our ideal candidate is someone with a highly disciplined approach to sales, a knack for quickly grasping client needs to craft tailored solutions and a stellar track record in developing new business leads. We are the front-runners in this space and to that end, want someone who will help us stay at the leading edge.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect and acquire new business opportunities craving to showcase their brand beyond the traditional mediums – print, television, radio, billboard
  • Work closely with the CEO and CRO to develop sales leads in new and existing markets
  • Set up sales meetings and introductions for leadership team and prep sales materials and presentations for follow-ups and pitches
  • Act as the liaison between the sales and marketing teams to coordinate sales asset creation and delivery
  • Work closely with client success team to develop strategy for campaign execution and client retention
  • Build and maintain a large and active national pipeline of high-quality leads

What you’ll need:

  • 1-3 years of inside sales, sales support, and/or business development experience (cold calling a plus)
  • Proactive approach to prospecting and pipeline building; CRM experience
  • Comfortable working directly with and reporting to executive team
  • Disciplined, goal-oriented approach with a track record of meeting targets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport on the phone
  • Highly organized and efficient with time management
  • An entrepreneurial outlook and enthusiasm to wear multiple hats
